In 2005 I quit my job and moved from Baltimore to Portland.
This was my resume and portfolio around that time.
About DW
I am a web developer with experience in most aspects of the design and development process. At the moment I am specializing in PHP/MySQL applications, but I’ve worked with Perl and Classic ASP in the past.
Over the past 8 years I have worked on a variety of projects from simple vanity websites to large-scale multi-user web applications. I appreciate all aspects of website development, but I truly enjoy working on complicated problems that require creative solutions.
Currently I reside in Portland, Oregon, but I’m available for long distance work if you are in another city.

The Import Tool allowed users to easily parse their own Vendor Quotes to import products into the system. Exporting documents in Excel format was invaluable in generating reports and invoices. (Internal use only) |

Created a central multi-user system for managing customer orders, postal permits, mailing receipts and much more. The system distributed data entry across departments and allowed for easy browsing and searching of information. (Internal use only) |

Musicians and bands were able to freely post concert schedules and other info on a high-traffic local music website. Other features like Classifieds, Free Tickets giveaways and Archives brought the publication completely online. |

Built a file upload and file management system for PHPBB users and administrators. Development was done using the PHPBB API, so file uploads are linked to user accounts. |
